ABSTRACT:

During a survey, cysts of Heterodera cruciferae Franklin in cabbage (Brassica olareacae L.) growing areas in Black Sea Region of Turkey were found infected with 2 fungi and 1 bacterium. The natural infestation rate of F. oxysporum on mature cysts was 35 % and the rate of infected eggs by F. oxysporum and Thallospora sp. in a cyst were 55 % and 46 %, respectively. Natural infestation rate of Fluorescent Pseudomonas sp. strain No. 2 and No. 6 was 23 % and 35 %; infected eggs rate was 29 % and 42 %, respectively. This is a first record on the occurrence of the Fluorescent Pseudomonas, Thallospora sp. and F. oxysporum on Heterodera cruciferae from Turkey.
