ABSTRACT:

Changing has begun with the industrial revolution for the cities in the world as well as in Turkey. This changing is causing to develop unhealthy urban centers and high-income people tended to search healthy surroundings of the city from the centers of the urban as a result of this changing. For this reason, slums which are surroundings of city have gained an increase in the amount of value. This situation firstly come to light the need to placing regeneration of slum areas in our country high on the top of the agenda.

Nowadays, urban areas are changing due to economical, social, cultural, physical and political reasons and needs regeneration with time. Urban regeneration projects are systematic planning tools which helps the changing having positive impacts in terms of application. However, an urban regeneration approach is needed for the success of applications which provide permanent, qualitative and livable solutions.

In this study, an urban regeneration application which is made in Inegol (Bursa / Turkey) is investigated within the frame of multi-factorial approach. Local frame of the regeneration term and expectations of residents were evaluated by a multi-factorial approach technique scope of survey
