ABSTRACT:

Coals react with oxygen from the moment they are produced and are subject to spontaneous combustion. As a result of the reaction, they emit harmful and dangerous gases to their surroundings. In addition, this situation leads to a reduction in the calories of coals. In the same way, losses of calories occur in the calories of coals under the rays of the sun due to their being exposed to the sun’s ultraviolet rays to human influence. In this study, the changes that occur in both imported and domestic coals sold for commercial purposes in Konya by applying different milling times and different durations in calories changes under the influence of microwave in calories, are examined.
