ABSTRACT:

In this study, ore deposit investigations were realized using with the geological, geophysical and geochemical methods on the ophiolitic rocks exposed in Hatip-Çayırbağı (Meram-Konya) regions.

In the Hatip-Çayırbağı Region Upper Triassic- Upper Cretaceous Lorasdağı Formation and Midostepe Formation make the basement of the unit. These units were covered Upper Cretaceous Hatip Ophiolitic Complex and Çayırbağı Ophiolite. Upper Miocene-Lower Pliocene Ulumuhsine Formation unconformably lies over the older units. All of these units covered unconformably by the Quaternary- Actual Alluvials.

Chemical analysis such as major oxides (SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, MgO, CaO, Na2O, K2O, TiO2, P2O5, MnO, Cr2O3), trace elements (Co, Mo, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, Sb, Sn, Ta, W, Zr, Ag, Au, Hg, Ni, Sc) and PGM (Pd, Pt) and rare earth element (La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb) were perform on the rock and plaser samples derived from the area.

Working in the fields of electrical geophysical methods on the basis of rezistivity levels / units tried to be determined. Hatip-Çayırbağı region four-point was measurement. As a result of the data obtained in Hatip regions in the levels of the silica, magnetite and chromite-rich serpentinite formations have been identified.
